Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority of Butler University, is putting on a 5k to benefit CASA. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. This organization supports and promotes court appointed advocates for abused or neglected children in order to provide them with a safe and healthy environment in permanent homes. Kappa Alpha Theta is the number one financial backer of CASA, which receives no government funding.
The 5k will take place on Sunday, April 15th, from 10am to 1pm. There are multiple ways for community members to get involved. One way is to participate in the 5k! For community members, tickets are $15 to participate. This fee includes a t-shirt, participation in the race, and the food and fun that goes along with the day!
